What If I Lived Out of One Bag

What if everything I owned fit into one bag? My house would become obsolete. I wouldn’t have to maintain a yard, a car, a garage or the vast majority of stuff I currently take care of. Yes, I would spend money on things that I don’t own (eating out all the time) but wouldn’t be spending money to keep all of my unused belongings at a comfortable 72 degrees.

James Altucher lives out of one bag and seems to do well for himself. He moved out of his house and hired someone to get rid of all of his stuff including his diploma. Maybe it would be easier for me to have someone help get rid of my stuff. I have so much attachment and comfort associated with my stuff that it is hard to let go.

I am not totally comfortable with the one-bag lifestyle but what could I learn from it? Could I gain more peace, time, and freedom?
