The Bootstrap Lifestyle

Recently I have been considering how I can optimize my website (www.joshbulloc.com) to improve how search engines find me. Part of this process is identifying key words which is tricky because you do not want to have key words that everybody uses but they have to be easily searched for. Luckily the term bootstrap is relatively unused compared to other potential key words. To pick the right key words means that you have to really understand what you want your business to be about or your niche. The concept of my business has evolved over time. It is like pealing back an onion. Each layer I remove I get closer to my ideal business. The recent layer I removed helped me to realize that I am interested in helping people have improved lifestyles and requires taking control of their lives. In the process of taking control of their lives some people will want to start a business and some will not. Nevertheless the initial steps in this process require taking control of their lives and that is something you have to do yourself; no one can do it for you. This is why I am targeting the phrase The Bootstrap Lifestyle.

The Bootstrap Lifestyle refers to taking control of your life and pulling yourself by your bootstraps. You can have help in teachers, coaches, and mentors but you have to do all of the heavy lifting on your own. If you do it on your own then you will value what you earned more than someone else giving it to you and once you earn it you will never want to go back to what it used to be. It will be hard work, you will get dirty, but the outcome will be a meaningful life that you enjoy.
