Lazy Broke Friends

Yes, I know, this video is not motivational.  But I like rock music and the song is called Mastermind.

The people you spend most of your time with will influence how you live your life. Research has found that you will make within 20% of your closest friends, So if you hang around with poor lazy people then there is a good chance that you are a poor lazy person.

If you want to change your life one of the easiest and hardest things you can do is spend more time with people that you aspire to be like while eliminating the people from your circle of friends that are holding you back. Now I am not saying that you have to only spend time with high achievers but your friends should be a positive influence on you. You do not need to be surrounded by negative people. You can identify these people by the way they criticize your new plan to reach your goals.

The next step is to create a mastermind group. The mastermind principle is an old idea made popular by Napoleon Hill. How to mastermind, you say? The mastermind idea consists of creating a group of like minded people that want to help each other reach their goals. You do not want to be too like minded though so you can help each other grow and stretch your thinking. This group can be to help you reach your goals by holding you accountable.

So to sum it up, change your friends and change your life.
